MYlibrary is a Book collectors organizer that allows you to enter your Books, Magazines, Comic books, Newspaper articles or any other written material that has an author and can be catagorized. You may enter a record for each book, Enter notes on that record, Enter the source for that book (Book store, Library, Trading partner, Etc.) into an address file and if you choose. You may scan an image of the front and back covers of the book.

MYcasinocoin.ZIP

MYcasinocoins is a Token collectors organizer that allows you to enter your Casino tokens or chips into a database. It has all of the features mentioned for MYlibrary. In addtion some of the fields have preloaded lists associated with them that you may select from.

Finding Records.

Most of the Database programs of this nature require you to scroll through a list of all your records to find the one you want. This can be very time consuming. MYlibrary &

MYcasinocoins each have three look up methods that allow you to find a record or group of records very easily.

The Treeview: Each program displays all the records in a collapsable treeview very similar to the one used by Windows explorer. Just click on the catagory (or City for casinotokens), Then click on the alpabetic character under which the book is stored, (or the Casino for casinotokens) and all your records for that letter (or Casino) are displayed. Select the record you want to display and it will be loaded.
Book Title or Record No.: If you know the correct spelling of the title of the book you want. Or if you know the record no. Just click on the load rec. Icon. Enter the title of the book you want (or the record no.)and it will be loaded.
The Search Engine.: Last but certainly not least. The search engine allows you find a record or group of records using any of the fields in the record to search on. An example of this would be to find all the books authored by any given author. You would select the author field from the book fields list. Select the Equals operator from the operators list and select the author from the authors list. If you had any books in your database by that author. They would be displayed so you could choose from the list. You may also total up the values any of the fields with this feature.

In addition both programs print out full page reports of your records, Lists of the records found by the search engine and Totals computed by the search engine.
